South America Wine Guide
Where we post from
Printed books are posted from Amanda's home in Hampshire, England, with Royal Mail. We post to the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa. If your country is not offered at checkout, write to contact@southamericawineguide.com and we will find a way.
What postage costs
Postage is shown at checkout once you enter your address, so you see the exact amount before you pay. It is a flat amount per country, based on what Royal Mail charges us for a book of this size.
How long it takes
United Kingdom: usually 3 to 5 working days.
Europe: usually 5 to 10 working days.
Everywhere else: usually 7 to 14 working days.
These are estimates, not promises. Books are posted by one person, not a warehouse, and the postal service does the rest. If your book has not arrived within three weeks, email us and we will chase it or send another.
Customs and import charges
Orders sent outside the United Kingdom may attract import duties or taxes in your country. Printed books are duty-free in most places, but where a charge applies it is set by your customs authority and is payable by you. We cannot predict or prepay it.
E-guides
E-guides are delivered by email, not by post. Your download link arrives within minutes of payment. Download on a laptop with a stable connection first, then share the file to your phone or tablet. If the link does not arrive, check your spam folder, then email us.
Pre-orders
When you pre-order a book that is not yet printed, you pay for the book only. Postage is not charged at checkout. When the book is out, Amanda gets in touch to arrange delivery and any dedication, and postage is settled then at the rate for your country. That is why the pre-order price is the same wherever in the world you are.
